Salmon’s Song of Life
Zhang Zhaohan March 25, 2025
From September to December every year, mature Canadian salmon swim tens of thousands of kilometers around the Pacific Ocean, avoiding the pursuit of killer whales, seals, fishermen, and the predation of raccoons and seagulls.
Salmon die generously because they do not want to compete with their offspring for food, and the dead bodies will turn into microorganisms, which will be decomposed and shared with the river bed to nourish other lives, tempering death into new life, and forming a complete cycle of nature!
Every living thing on the earth must have its own natural laws that have reproduced to this day. Salmon know how to provide food for future generations, leave a living space for future generations, and devote themselves to the continuation of life. Rebirth and death are only one step away. Death is the end of rebirth and rebirth is the starting point of death. The handover of life and death, the continuation of life and the cycle of life, only seeking the needs of survival, no greed and no need for reward, all make people marvel at the wonderful handiwork of nature!
Human beings claim to be the rulers of the earth, but they may not be as intelligent as animals. Today, with the rapid economic development, human beings’ demands are no longer the need for survival, but have become the plunder of comparison, vanity and indulgence. Very few people can not be greedy for more. Unrestrained demands and unscrupulous destruction destroy not nature, but human beings themselves. Nature does not need to be protected or saved. What really needs to be protected and saved is human beings themselves!
It’s time for the salmon migration
