The platform people love

Last night, my family of three strolled to the nearby plaza and came across a newly opened restaurant. It was dinnertime, so we went in. There were already people waiting ahead of us, and since we didn’t have a reservation, we had to wait our turn.

I heard this is a small restaurant specializing in barbecue skewers. There are several tables and chairs along both sides of the interior; the place is bright and clean, and there’s no loud noise, only quiet whispers among the diners—a pleasant atmosphere. The waiters are constantly busy serving tea and water.



Half an hour later, we finally sat down. Taking the menu, we ordered: lamb skewers, chicken skewers, grilled sausages, short ribs, oysters, stir-fried cabbage, and a plate of cumin lamb fried rice. Soon, the food arrived one after another. Luckily, the restaurant was having a promotion, giving us a free garlic lobster, which tasted authentic. Throughout our meal, there was a constant queue outside. This clearly showed how popular the restaurant was.

After a satisfying meal, we picked up our phones and went outside. A cool breeze brushed our faces; it was early winter. The streetlights were just coming on, and all was quiet. We’ll definitely come back again sometime.
